Brand History
Established in 1984, Bruno has recently celebrated 4 decades of innovating mobility solutions for enhanced independence.
Founded by Mike Bruno Sr, a veteran, he had previously worked for a company that built lowered floor vans for wheelchair users which gave him a profound passion for providing people with mobility challenges more freedom. Then, when the minivan was in the mid-80’s, he identified the opportunity for people to transport their mobility devices with ease and launched Bruno as one of the first companies in the U.S to design and manufacture scooter lifts.
Fast forward to 2025, the company is now managed by Mike Bruno II, son of Mike Bruno Sr who continues to ensure his father’s vision remains at the heart of the company. Not only this but Mike Bruno, II has personal connection and insight into how mobility equipment fosters independence for those with limited mobility through his daughter and relishes the privilege to help others.

The Joey Lift is a Bruno platform lift which is part of our mobility device loading & stowage range. It enables you to independently load your device into your car by providing a sturdy platform to drive onto, step off and remote control to electronically lift the device into the boot of the car. The interior lift design also provides the ideal solution to keep your mobility device protected from the elements. For extra safety it comes with a tie-down restraint system to secure the device whilst loading.
